Side Projects, Creative Endeavors and More!

The creative energy is flowing here at cotton&cashmere! I’ve been working on a few side projects and would love to share them with you.

The one I’m most proud of is a shot I styled for First for Women magazine. I worked with April Dixon, an Austin woman who lost 135 lbs! April was such an inspiration and a pleasure to dress. It was moving to hear how she was able to shed half of her body weight through diet and exercise. Half! Here, April wears shorts from Ann Taylor Loft and a top from Nic and Zoe. The jewelry she wears is my own.

I’ve also been working with my friends Niraj Mehdiratta and Meg Mulloy on Niraj’s site, nirajrai.com. We’ve had a blast shooting men’s looks for summer, some of Niraj’s Austin muses and more. He’s got great style and serious street photography skills. I hope you enjoy it!
