Natty Dressers – Here’s to the Men!

I’m loving men’s fashion lately; especially the chic winter looks men in Austin are sporting.

I snapped this photo of artist Carlos Rosales-Silva at the Okay Mountain gallery opening for the East Austin Studio Tour:

Carlos always looks fly – even casually. Take a cue from him and go for a blazer over your normal sweater. They create that silhouette we love; broad shoulders and a nipped in waist!

He’s definitely an inspiration for me, and hopefully for other guys in Austin too!

Ultra-light puffer jackets are everywhere in Austin. They look great on men; so sporty and masculine, yet chic.

The Sartorialist shot this dapper fellow in NYC. I’m loving how he rocks his puffer vest under a wool blazer. It’s a bit too warm for that here, but hopefully we’ll see chillier temps in January.

A commenter noticed that his vest may be from Uniqlo. With their minimal/sporty looks and great prices, I’m dying to have a storefront in Texas!
